“There is always one moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future in.”
— Deepak Chopra
Here are four ways you can help North Hamilton children and youth realize their potential and achieve their dreams.
Make a donation to The Eva Rothwell Centre at Robert Land. We’re a registered non-profit charitable organization. We’re mortgage-free. And we’re absolutely committed to delivering the highest quality programs and services at the lowest possible cost. Click here to make a one-time or monthly tax-deductible contribution to:
- Buy a Brick campaign

- Operating Fund
Volunteer your time and talents. We’re always looking for volunteers who want to make a difference. With programs in education, health, music, arts and recreation, there’s an opportunity for every volunteer to share their special gifts with children and youth at the Eva Rothwell Centre. And there’s lots of ways to help out behind the scenes too. You can volunteer once a week or help out with a special project or event. Whatever works with your schedule.
Please note: Because nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of children and youth at our community centre, police background checks are required for all volunteers. You can download a Vulnerable Sector Screening form from Hamilton Police Service here.
Deliver a program or service at the Eva Rothwell Centre. We’re always interested in hearing from potential community partners. And we’re especially interested in programs and services related to helping children and youth to stay engaged, succeed and graduate from school.
Rent space at the Eva Rothwell Centre. Whether you’re looking to rent our gym for a special event, lease office space or use a classroom for training and development, you’ll find the space you need at a price you can afford in the heart of North Hamilton.
